The Westbridge Hotel

Originate worked on the interiors of this new hotel near the London 2012 Olympic site in Stratford, East London.  The Westbridge Hotel consisted of two properties: a historic building with a modern extension.

The decision was made early on to treat the two parts of the hotel differently. The hotel rooms in the historic building were treated in a more traditional manner, albeit with a modern twist and the rooms in the new part were more ‘boutique hotel’ in look and feel. Existing brick walls were exposed with modern inserts. The furniture was a mix of new and antique shop discoveries.
